You are cordially invited to come to our Spring Show, "Everything Old is New Again." The Silver Statesmen barbershop chorus will be joined by the Color Country barbershop chorus from St. George, UT and quartets from both choruses will also be performing.
This concert will be held on Saturday, May 12th, at the UNLV Doc Rando Recital Hall (inside the Beam Music Center). There will be two performances (2:00pm and 6:00pm).
Tickets can be purchased online at: www.SilverStatesmen.com ($15-adults and $5-12 yrs and under). Order them now and the tickets will be mailed to your home. If you wait too long, your tickets will be held for you at the Performing Arts Box Office adjacent to the parking garage on campus. Parking anywhere on campus is FREE on the weekends.
You won't want to miss this combined performance of two great a cappella groups and quartets. The Silver Statesmen chorus was recently named the Plateau AA champion chorus of the Southeast Division for the Far Western District of the Barbershop Harmony Society, and was also cited as the Most Improved Chorus in our Division. As the largest all male, a cappella singing group in the State of Nevada, we are proud of our accomplishments and strive hard to entertain our audiences with great barbershop songs, both old and new.
