BULLRING PAST PRESENT FUTURE

Saturday, May 5, 2018 was a beautiful night for car racing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway's Bullring.  It was Military and Veterans Appreciation Night, with active and retired military personnel recognized for their service.  
*The 6 lap Lucas Oil Modified Dash was won by #22, Aaron McMorran (Las Vegas, NV);  2nd place went to Jason Irwin (Albuquerque, NM) in #9i; 3rd was Dylan Cappello (Peoria, AZ) driving the #11 car.
*The USLCI Bandolero Bandits Feature was a12 lap race.  The slower cars made a difference in the ultimate winner of this race, as the faster vehicles had to skillfully maneuver through traffic.  Landon Gresser (Henderson, NV) #35G won his 5th season victory.  Jake Bollman #71 was 2nd; 3rd place went to #66 Tuscan Nuccitelli (Ivins, UT.)
*USLCI Bandolero Outlaws raced for 12 laps with first place going to Amilleo Thomson (Las Vegas, NV) in #14.  Brendan Tracy (Las Vegas, NV) in #98 came in 2nd.  3rd place went to #88 Cody Brown (Las Vegas, NV.)
*The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series B Feature racers finished their 20 lap race with #37 Keith Spangler (Porter Ranch, CA) taking the checkered flag.  2nd place went to #09 Kayla Eshleman (Fontana, CA); 3rd was John Dillon (Eagle, ID) in #11.  These top 3 racers qualified for the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Feature, a 150 lap race held later in the evening.
*The Jr. Late Models Feature, 25 laps, was won by #12, Kyle Keller (Las Vegas, NV).  2nd place went to #18 Austin Edwards (Mentone, CA) and 3rd place was taken by #24 RJ Smotherman (Pahrump, NV.)
*The NASCAR Super Stocks Feature, 25 lap race had an exciting finish with #21 Matt Larsen (St. George, UT) winning for the first time since July, 2017's Night of Fire.  2nd place was #48 Mason Sargent (Las Vegas, NV) with #29J Sam Jacks (Las Vegas, NV) taking 3rd place.
*The $10,000 winner-take-all SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Feature, had 26 cars racing 150 laps.  On lap 140, #75 Jeremy Doss (Upper Lake, CA) came up from starting from the 21st position to take the lead and win, 2nd place went to #20 Cole Moore (Granite Bay, CA), 3rd place was #05, Eric Schmidt (Roseville, CA.)
*The 25 lap USLCI Legends Feature had the checkered flag going to #25, Jaron Giannini (Henderson, NV) until a post-race inspection discovered a technical violation.  After Giannini's disqualification, the winner was #2X Dylan Fabozzi (Brea, CA).  2nd place went to #13X Michael Todd Glazier; 3rd place went to #01 Jordon Holloway (Henderson, NV.)
*The evening's final race, a 75 lap Lucas Oil Modified Feature was won by #4T Taylor Miinch (Blossom Valley, CA) with 2nd place going to #11 Dylan Cappello (Peoria, AZ) and 3rd place was won by #9i Jason Irwin (Albuquerque, NM.)
