PAGENT OF THE MASTERS

This is one of the treasures on earth, it is too bad their score is ruined by starting 10 minutes late! Too further distract from my enjoyment of the show is a moron behind me unwrapping candy and an idiot in front of me taking flash photos! Why ? And why can't we eradicate this inconsiderate late arriving bastards from the face of the earth? And why do they know where I'm sitting and irritate me ? All right!

I have written about this one before and hopefully will again. Laguna Hills, California, outdoor theatre, 4000 seats, goes only in July and August, it is sold out every show in December! If you have not had this experience you are a lifetime loser!

Pop up their website and get started, it is good enough to drive 276 miles to and wait ten minutes to start at 840. Truly impossible to discribe with words, it is simply (actually nothing is simple about this), famous images (example -The Last Supper) magnified image, with real actors set in the picture. It is scripted beautifully narated under great orchestration by Skip Conover (another genius) and presented to you under perfect lighting for only seconds. Enough said this is not something to be written about it is something to be seen. Needless to say they are taking it to a new creative level which is the true beauty of this art.

Young at Heart, the theme for 2007, I was hoping for a Sinatra vocal to open but the orchestra did it well. I will return for 2008 and forever, this again is one of the treasures on earth and along with Sammy Davis Jr. and the Beatles. this is among the top things I seen in my lifetime. (Have done the Great Wall, Pyramids and Sammy Davis Jr.)

It is sad to score this piece of heaven a 90 A- because they started late when the real score should be in the 1000's.
