Boxing

Got to follow up the great Ronn Lucas show last week in the afternoon with boxing at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas ! This card on versus tv, whatever the hell that is, a prelim promotion to a bigger event later in the week. At one time I covered boxing extensively for a number of media and genuinely enjoyed the matches. Not so much anymore and certainly not the UFC, whatever the hell that is.

However, this card had three nice matches, quality competition and great main event with an even match, both men giving their all thru out, thats the top qualites for good boxing. The results and names are irrelavant in the morass of numbers and matches going on worldwide. The point is, it was great boxing for the pure fan like myself and promoter Bob Arum, matchmaker Bruce Trampler and publicist Lee Samuels all get a big ThankYou from me.

Tough to grade this cause they are always late and married to tv with long delays, the event itself probably an A+ but the attached complications make it a C 75.
