So who hasn't heard of the wax musuem or who has not been ? I eliminated myself from the later category today and was I ever glad I did.
So nice to be greeted professionally and treated specially at any entertainment event, that's the deal at the Venetian Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip where music from the Phantom plays as you enter the property.
I have heard and read so much about wax museums and their characters back to Rod Serlings Twilight Zone episode "The New Exhibit" staring Martin Balsam, it ran 4 April 1962, thats 46 years ago, yet until today I had never been to one. Staff informed me that I have missed it here for eight years. With changing characters and this type of quality show my visits should (and will) occur annually.
I just love quality in any of the arts and the artwork in constructing these figures nothing but the higest level. This exhibit overly interactive, encouraging touch and picture taking with the figures, what babe would not want to throw on a wedding dress and get married to George Clooney? The exhibit was laid out in yellow brick road path, easy to follow so you didn't miss anybody, perfectly lighted and with matching named tags and birthdays...Liz Taylor 78 yesterday....I really read this stuff....thank you for the naration. We enjoyed presidents, actors, muscians, athletes, icons and some relatively new folks I didn't know. Needless to say all my heroes were in attendance, to include Sammy, Frank, Ben Franklin, JFK, Neil Sedaka, Elvis, Tiger, Michael Jordan, Arnold Palmer and Richard Penniman (Little Richard).
I don't necessarily look for negatives but if I find them I report them, didn't find any here. The staff and artists made me feel at home....OH BOY this was great stuff...they are open every day......A+ 100 thanks for a great show !
