AS GOOD AS IT GETS ! ! !
Do I want to be entertained ? Do I want to see something different ? Do I want to see well prepared historical music and dance ? Do I want to see creative bright young college talent ?
Do I want to attend shows at the best theatre in Las Vegas ? Do I like lots of beautiful costumes ? Do I want the show to start on time ? YES YES YES YES YES YES YES ! ! ! !
Duquesne University students from Pittsburgh now in their 71st season hitting Las Vegas on their current tour ...this at the Starbright Theatre in Summerlin for two shows.....I have seen them before ...wrote before....they are back again next year.....just damn sensational.
This their best effort for me in ten shows that I have seen in Las Vegas....with live music....strings, horns, accordian, vocals ....all from well rehearsed bright young talent who acted like they enjoyed what they were doing.....I am sure they did. There is hope for the future ! It occured to me that this group are music and theatre career trainees, and not schooling for accountants, teachers and coaches......either way the audience is the winner.
15 short pieces...starting on time and brightening my day....100 A+ A+
