TOP RANK BOXING

Boxing credentials do not come as easy as in the old days ! They came Friday for the Boxeo card at the Hark Rock. Glad they did ! 6 club card matches on Mexician TV to promote Saturdays "big" card ! This card promoted itself. I always said the Hard Rock is Las Vegas worst venue and it still may be but we avoided the rap speakers and climbing over chairs senario by going to the balcony and only the hanging Tecate signs interferred with our view.

You always have to play the game and three of the fights were top notch.....competitive, hard fought with an honest effort and fan fridendly. Main event, top 20 welterweight Jesus Soto-Karass 21-3-3 scoring a fifth round KO to top off an excellent evening of sports entertainment.

Raced to the South Pointe for comedian Chris Bliss who appears to be famous for this juggling video! We certainly miss George Carlin and continuity of this material allowed some heckling which he did not handle well....too many pauses....but some good thought. Anyway at the end he juggles in time to my favorite Beattles song Golden Slumbers.....IT WAS SPECIAL.
