CROWN BOXING

Club card boxing at the Orleans Friday night...... pretty much the bottom level of club cards, 6 fights...... over promoted and not a good boxer among the 12 who fought.....some quick and some quasi entertaining.

Main event, women, 3 minute rounds, best three judges in the world....Duane Ford, Jerry Roth and Dave Moretti scoring a card that was a mystery to me. I told fellow scribes that whatever these three had, that that would be correct (and official) 100-90, 98-92, 97-93,,,,,never again would you see a bout judged by a trio that had scored over 500 (title) fights. The match itself very wakard with a tall left handed Spainard with a big wide stance against a shorter righthanded jabber......I don't know if either landed a solid blow.

Anyway they started late with way too much down time and too manhy intermissions to an average crowd that slept and left during the main event.

More Crown boxing at the Orleans in September......lets go !
